Island Vibe is the ideal destination for all surfers from complete novices to pros. We aim to get you to where the swell is best and the crowds least.
Surf School
Jeffreys Bay Surf School and Island Vibe offer a week long surf camps which gives the wannabe surfer a real insight into living the dream.
Students partake in a surf lesson every day for two hours, with the option of using a board to practice in the afternoon. Our Surf instructor is the Eastern Province Surf Team's coach and a qualified life guard, ensuring absolute professionalism and competency; special boards are used for complete beginners.
The school has a huge assortment of surfmaterial from soft tops to hand shaped boards, and also all kinds of wetsuits and other watersports material.
On the last day you are taken to Seal Point in St Francis Bay, this is the spot of the epic “Endless Summer”, to make a lot of surf before your departure!
Surfaris
In and around the bay of St Francis we explore the famous Supertubes (home of the Billabong Pro) and the legendary breaks of 'Endless Summer' fame. These are full day excursions accompanied by a local surfing guide.
Extra Activities
kite surf, windsurf and snorkelling! And for the land-lubbers, there are nature trails ideal for mountain bike, golf, bowls, tennis, skate- and sand boarding, horse riding on beaches and in the bush, and more!
