Kitesurfing combines the adrenalin and the skill of surf, windsurf and wake boarding turning it into one of the most spetacular water sports.
Our camp organizes kite camps for begginners, intermediate and advanced kite surfers.
If you wish to do the complete kite course with IKO certification we have designed several packages for you.
These packages include accommodation in "Caleta de Famara" (inside Famara Natural Park) away from mass tourism and 100m from the beautiful beach of Famara (6km of fine sand). You can enjoy a great surfing holiday in confort, surfing and kiting in the crystal warm waters of Lanzarote.

The School

the Kite lessons are given in Famara beach usually during low tide hours for better safety, in 6 Km sandy beach. It is a very easy sport to learn. With the IKO teaching program you'll learn in a fast and safe way. With the 4 days course, beginners will be self sufficient and ready to free ride... in full safety not only for them but for the others also!

MATERIAL

we use the last generation of sails and surfboards NAISH, wetsuits and all the necessary. This is an official centre NAISH and IKO and at the end we’ll give you your certificate.

VERY IMPORTANT!!

In our Kite Camp Package (KITE ONLY) kite lessons aren’t equivalent to surf lessons. This means that if you wish to have surf lessons when the weather conditions for Kite aren’t good, the cost is 30 € a day. In the Kite + Surf Package if the wind conditions aren’t good in Famara beach for Kite, you can do Surf lessons WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL COST! If you won’t translate Kite lessons in Surf lessons, the school will you give a personal VOUCHER (valid for 1 year) for the Kite hours made unusable for bad weather conditions.

Our Kite Surf school organizes daily pick up/drop off of clients from any hotel/apartments in Costa Teguise, Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero and Arrecife areas, for a minimum of 2 persons. You can also rent kite surf equipment after completing your training.

1. Beginner: this course is ideal for all those that never had contact with the sport and wish to start from zero or that had tried only a few times.

2. Intermediate: This course is for all those that completed a first level IKO and are doing a second level IKO. It's fundamental that you know how to water start and have completed all the beach exercises, having absolute control over the kite.

3. Advanced: For all the free riders that have their own equipment and do their own water-starts, but don't ride that regularly or still want some training: body position / constant power control with the kite & kite movement on both parts of the wind window techniques / edging control. Methods to increase or decrease the power by edging / switch of direction without loosing the power / freestyle.

In this course is pre-requisite to have the level 1 and the level 2 IKO, and to know how to water-start, water rescue techniques, absolute control on breaking and self autonomy to deal with the kite and surfboard, in and out of the water.

1 week of Kite Surf Camp INCLUDES:

KEEP IN MIND: we can arrange a taxi for you on the day of your arrival to the airport, the price per journey is 25€ (up to 4 persons per taxi).

In just a few days you can initiate yourself in these two wonderful sports . This camp is for beginners in both sports. Days that wind conditions are not favourable for Kite you can participate in Surf school without any additional cost.
