Barbados - Surf School & Surfaris
Barbados is a sunny tropical paradise with beautiful waves and some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean Islands - probably in the world! The island is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, one of the northern Caribbean Islands, and it is more or less at the same latitude of Miami. With its position the island receives waves along all the different exposed coastline, depending on seasonal weather conditions. Barbados is well known for is beautiful crystal clear sea water and the water is warm all year long. The natural beauty of the island, the great variety of landscapes, the lovely beaches, the tropical climate and its crystal clear waves, makes Barbados one of the best surfing destinations in the world!
The surf is good all year long, but the best months are from October to March when there are 6-10 ft waves in the north and 1-4 ft clean waves elsewhere on the island. During the remaining months the waves are 2 to 6 ft most of the time, with perfect conditions, no wind at all: really glassy!
The water temperature is never below 26 °C and sometimes in July and August gets up to 30 °C. Barbados has 3000 sunny hours and 365 surfing days a year!
Our surf camp is located in Surfers Point, on the South coast catching almost every swells and ideal spot for learning surf. We are next to the most known spot, like South Point, Freights... and 30 minutes by car far from Soup Bowls, a very famous spot (Kelly Slater is often on this island surfing).
