Australia - Surfaris
The journey of your life! A dream that until this year will become reality! Here is what we have created for you…The best way to see Australia is by travelling ‘on the road’. We will take you along the coast searching for uncrowded waves. Through untouched landscapes with fully equipped campervans, into the national parks and towards beautiful beaches. We will discover together the wildlife and the nature of the “Red Continent”: kangaroos, koalas, emus and also dolphins and whales, all the native birds and the Rain Forests of this “big island”.If you feel ready for such an adventure you will experience something unique. A Soul Trip with surfing, cooking on an open fire under the stars and the moon.
A flexible itinerary ensures you get the best weather conditions, swell directions and waves in several spots. Therefore we wouldn’t miss the opportunity to watch a whale migration 100 km north or south, or canoeing when the river is up. The rest is just Nature; learning to travel and camp with as little impact as possible on the natural environment, the aboriginal culture and their laws and traditions. Travelling with an open mind and a pure heart!
This trip is possible for any level of surfer, from the beginner to the advanced and also for people who would join us to experience the journey without surfing, because the way we travel is much more of a true experience than what you would get on the tourist trail. In the trip we could meet Tom Wegener (a pure soul and Californian longboarder who decided to choose Noosa Heads as his home in the ‘longboarders paradise’) as he is shaping one of his unique wooden surfboard masterpieces. Or spend half a day with Chris Von Takach (one of the greatest Australian shapers) trying to catch a few secrets of his knowledge. What’s more, learn to paint aboriginal art under the supervision of the great masters Deano and Scott Rotuman. They will teach you their aboriginal painting techniques and you will bring home your own masterpiece. Or what about spending few days in a surfers lodge with an expert local enjoying the Aussie hospitality and having a good time in one of the most beautiful spots on the East Coast.Last but not least let us say a few words about the waves, the philosophy of the trip is to search for the best surf for everyone’s ability, whether it be big or small. In the end the search is the excuse for the journey, isn’t it?
